What is GEE

Astrium Electronics first launched its GEE series OE fit In-Dash Navigation Stereo in 2012. Since then, Astrium has strived to update them with latest technology and innovative hardware/software platform.

The name of GEE derives from the code name given to a radio navigation system used by the Royal Air Force during World War II. It was the first hyperbolic navigation system to be used operationally. GEE remained an important part of the Royal Air Force's suite of navigation systems in the post-war era, and was featured on aircraft such as the English Electric Canberra and the V-bomber fleet.

Today Astrium GEE series in-dash navigation radio represents the best quality and most innovative technologies in the industry.
